| - I feel like three stars is the perfect, balanced review for this place. The staff were all nice and the facilities were well cared for. The prices were higher than we've paid elsewhere, but for the promise of having a water-safe swimmer, probably worth the extra cost.
The down-side to the facility is that both pools are outside, uncovered, so classes are cancelled if there is lightening (they don't give refunds or prorate for cancelled or missed classes), and if there isn't lightning kids are expected to swim in the rain. I get it, it's just water, but my kid didn't do well with it and it would have been nice if the pool were indoors or under a cover.
Over the season that my 2-3 YO was enrolled we met great friends and had so much fun! I saw kids who came every day go from holding a teacher to swimming safely and independently over 2 - 4 weeks. This was not our experience. My daughter went twice per week for the whole season, and her skill level really didn't improve. The classes got bigger and she spent less individual time with the instructors as the season went on. All that said, my daughter loved the place and the teachers, so we may try again when she's older and able to go daily for two to four weeks.
