  • We've had a great experience here. I should have written a review sooner. We have been attending activities at this center for more than two years. This center has a wonderful preschool program. It is a bit difficult to get into (especially for pre-K for 4 year olds) but it is easier for the three year old classes. It is all lottery based and very affordable compared to private schools. ($55/month for two, 2-hour classes per week, or around half that price for the "Kinder Express" class which meets one morning per week.) The teachers are excellent and manage to squeeze preschool curriculum, circle time for songs/fun, play time, arts/crafts, and even a little snack into two hours. Also, I believe there is some financial aid funding available for lower income families for the kids' classes here. (At least there used to be a sign up with something to that effect a few months ago.) My kids have been involved in preschool, gymnastics, sports skills classes, and t-ball league here, as well as the "summer fun" class for 3-5 year olds (sort of like preschool, but without letters and numbers, just fun things like crafts and cooking for a few hours each week). Classes like gymnastics and dance are around $20-$25/month, which is much less than at other studios around town. The full day summer "camp" for school aged kids also looks really fun, as far as camps go. They have good activities and take the kids swimming and on field trips. I believe certain theme weeks book up early, so keep an eye out to not miss registration for that. All of the staff, coaches, and teachers have been very nice and friendly. Sure, if you think your kid might be an Olympic gymnast or professional ballerina, this may not be the place for you. But if you are just looking for a good place for your kids to be active and have exposure to a new activity or a sport, it is perfect. This location is convenient even if you don't live in the neighborhood, since it is just off the highway near 95/Jones. Parking is relatively easy except during some of the busy evenings when there are basketball games. Also, there is covered parking, which is great in the summer months.
