  • Finally made my way here for Free Macaron Day. Purchased a couple of Macarons, a box of meringues, and a Red Velvet Whoopie pie. Macarons were lacking in filling, perhaps because it was free day? Meringues were really good. The red velvet whoopie pie was a big disappointment. The Red Velvet cake tasted as if it had red food coloring added, which gave it a horrible bitter after taste. The filling was not cream cheese based, but a rather bland almost completely tasteless white cream. With all of the wonderful cupcake bakeries around I was very disappointed.
