(they have more reviews on google, fyi)
We picked Mr.Jim's place because a friend who drives by every day mentioned it to us. About a year ago we were really stuck, both of our cars broke down at the same time, it was going to cost too much for us to fix them at the time. We had a bankruptcy about 2 years before. We had no savings.....because we were lame, I guess haha! Anyways.... we sold one of our cars for $400 (old mercedes) and added to that the other one as trade-in (02 honda). The honda was pretty beat, man! It wouldn't stay running unless you were revving the engine and it had cosmetic issues and I thought for sure they wouldn't accept it- but they did (plus our $400)!! So, we picked out this decent little Sonata. It was just over 100k miles. It had a couple little problems- used car, DUH!- but nothing major.
The battery went completely dead right after purchasing the car, but we contacted Mr.Jim's and they took care of it for us. We were satisfied.
It has been a great vehicle so far. You actually get to talk to THE Mr.Jim (hey,Jim!) lol. He was very nice and easy-going it was very stress-free. We left in a couple hours. We told him what we could afford and he gave us our options. All in all it was a great experience.
They specialize in cars under 10k (if I remember right) and that's what we were looking for. And (again, if I remember right...) they have mechanics who can fix your car issues for a decent price since you purchased the car from them.
It took a year to write this review because we're now shopping for a second vehicle (we saved! yay us! We're all grown up now! HAHA) and my first stop was Mr.Jim's Deals on Wheels.
