  • Staff: Pros- The staff here is SUPER friendly. I was always greeted with smiles and everyone is super happy to talk with you. Every time I went in they remembered who I was and we would chit chat. The front desk girl (Jade maybe?) was the sweetest thing. Cons- So I'm not sure if they had a large staff, the girls rotated locations, or they had a high turnover but it seemed like it was someone new each time working on my tattoo removal. There was one girl who I had maybe 3-4 times out of my 10 treatments but other than that it was generally a new face. It would have been nice to be able to work with the same person each time so that I could expect the same quality work. Equipment: Pros- Pretty speedy. I had tattoo removal and while the first treatment took about 15 minutes, by the end it was down to under 3 minutes. Plus they use the cold air blower while they work and they gave me an ice pack to numb the area (an actual numbing agent is an option for an additional cost). I've been told that a new machine with a larger laser has been brought it since I completed my tattoo removal so that's a plus for anyone going in. Cons- Just like the staff, this changed often as well. Which is great if it's better equipment, but it makes you wonder about the equipment they were using prior and if anything was wrong with it. Probably about 4 machines during my 10 treatments (almost 2 years). Affordability: Pros- They almost always seem to be offering some sort of specials. I received 10 laser tattoo removals at 50% off, which still cost me $600. Cons- They are pretty pricey. At the time I just wanted to get in somewhere and get started on my tattoo removal so I didn't do any research. After looking into it more, LaserAway is definitely on the costly side as laser services go, which shouldn't be a big deal for anyone living in the area. (Let's just say you can expect to see a parking lot full of Porsche's, Mercedes, and the like.) I would definitely recommend LaserAway Scottsdale. The office is clean and the staff is great. Plus it's in a great location at the Scottsdale Quarter.
