Came here for a coupla friends bday celebration and it was very fun! I think the last time I was at Scooter's was at least a decade - or two - ago, either filming something for Rogers Cable 10 or with high school friends. Place has not changed since then.
Admission was $10.50pp and an additional $4 for rentals, but it was a total of $13-13.50 for both. Sundays are family days, so it's all ages. Music is Top 40 with a DJ and their version of "lifeguards" who skate along with everyone to ensure beginners are safe!
(Shout-out of the staff member who caught me whilst a bunch of tweens were flailing about like Shaggy in front of me and caused me to lose my balance!)
There were certain "rules" posted like everyone has to pay to use a locker and each person hasta pay, but if you're just supervising and not skating, you can just sneak in with someone who's paying. Locker rules, I think, just protects the place in cause personal belongings are stolen.
You can rent either rollerskates OR rollerblades. Rink was quite sizeable. There were a coupla pretty amazing skaters, so watch out for them!
Very fun experience if you're looking for something 'different' to do! I hope it never closes. :)
