  • Black Bear Espresso is a charming and rustic coffee shop located on the street level of the MET condo building. When you enter the inviting space, you are captured by the warmly lit interior of vintage light fixtures which hangs over a display case of yummy pastries. What initially caught my attention towards this independent coffee shop, was their use of Pilot coffee roasters brand of coffee beans. If anyone loves coffee, they will recognize the distinctive taste and the captivating aroma of Pilot coffee. The Barista recommended their Floats, which are usually a popular item, but it was not available at the time, so I was referred to the Iced items menu. I was looking for something sweet and definitely cold, so I ordered the Iced White Mocha. It was the perfect blend of espresso, white chocolate sauce and milk to satisfy my coffee fiend quench. They also have free Wi-Fi for those who are looking to get a little work done. I will definitely return to try their many drink items (most likely the Floats) and pick up a few pastries when I'm nearby.
