First off let me just say I love this hotel. The lobby is gorgeous, it's perfectly located whether you may want to see a show or go to a game. There is a public garage directly across the street that you may park in and around Christmas parking is free so don't get suckered in to paying for valet! (If you can even find someone to valet your car...more on this later). Room service from Braddocks was very quick and we really enjoyed the kielbasa plate. The room is spacious with a nice corner view of the river. Bed is comfortable. The two biggest disappointments were the complete lack of service upon arrival and the tub being totally clogged (I love a bath as much as the next person but not while I'm showering lol). When we arrived we had forgotten about the free parking so we waited for a good 15 mins for a valet and no one was willing to even think about taking our money lol! So I unloaded everything and carried all our very heavy bags to check in and then couldn't find anyone to assist me with a bell cart. I finally tracked someone down while waiting in line to check in and begged him for a bell cart. No "can I help you with those" or "I'd be happy to assist" for goddess sake I even loaded them on to the now located cart myself (listen I'm not trying to sound like a spoiled brat but man if I have to tip the bellman then the least he could do is help for goodnes sake). All in all it was a good stay but arrival staff could use a bit of a tune up.
