| - My wife and I always drive by but never go in. Well, we changed that... We walked in and it was easy to find a seat as it wasn't busy yet. We were created properly and promptly. We were given menus, our server answered questions, made suggestions... The fried pickles were good and made in house! My wife had the Fried Egg Burger, loved it! I had the Southwest Burger, loved it! The beers on tap were some of the best! I'm surprised they had many good ones for a "Mom and Pop" place. The one thing I didn't like was watching many of the staff members including a female cook, interact with an older gentleman by the name Paul. They gave him a plate with chicken and tomatoes. However, they replaced the tomatoes multiple time with their bare hands. At first they were full sized regular tomatoes. They laughed as he ordered a chicken breast with sliced tomatoes. He clearly was given whole ones as a joke. However, they took the tomatoes with their bare hands and replaced them with grape tomatoes. Again, laughing at the joke of giving him the wrong tomatoes. Finally, the tomatoes were once again removed with bare hands from an employee and replaced with sliced ones. As a chef, many sanitation issues come to mind! Not to mention, the cook had her dirty apron on outside of the kitchen. Which is against the health code. I like the food, unfortunately, after seeing how the cook and employees handle food... I'm not sure I'd trust this place again.
