Fun place for kids and adults! The best part is the staff, who are all in good spirits and really enthusiastic. Generally in other laser tag or trampoline parks, the staff get a little burned out or are just not friendly, not the case at Rex Center.
Kids requested that we specifically mention chef Joe from the kitchen who was really nice and made great pizza and wings.
Since each activity by itself is $10 for 10mins, we all bought the unlimited 2 Hour pass. There are enough things going on to have fun during the entire period. We got in 2 games of GoKart, 3 rounds of laser tag, and 3 climbing walls. Some in our party opted for mini golf over a round of laser tag and they gave thumbs up for the course.
Laser tag - 2 or 3 teams depending on how many players each round. Phasers (gun) detachs from the vest for a better range of motion. Tight corners and some mini slopes. Shoot mini TV screens for power up bonuses like invulnerability or double points for 10 seconds.
Climbing Wall - best feature of Rex Center. There are about 10 different climbs, each with 3 levels to challenge yourself. You're on real rock climbing harness and they provide you complimentary lockers to leave your valuables before you climb. There is even one wall where you can start a timer and race each other.
GoKart - the track is not very long like PolePosition, but there is elevation and tight curbs to make for a very exciting competitive race. The shorter track requires more skills to not hit the curb or bump another player so you keep your speed up. Tip: use your brakes to drift before going into a turn
