  • Without a doubt the most amazing gelato you have or will eat in a long time. The owner is the winner of Chopped Canada (he's a chef) who has made the most amazing concoctions of gelato. Far from the typical flavours of pistachio, nocciolo or strachiatelle (spelling?) the gelato at Death in Venice is more like lemon ricotta rosemary, Turkish coffee, and eggplant tahini (no joke). He uses seasonal fresh local ingredients ONLY. Simply amazing and can't wait to come back and try all the flavours as they come out. Met the owner and he was humble, took the time to describe his process, very young so I bet he's got a long amazing legacy of gelato to leave behind! Besides that the cafe Constantinople is beautiful with lots of yummy stuff to eat.
