Update: Beware of billing issues when using Ultimate. I was under the impression they are a direct bill preferred body shop for American Family. Due to miscommunication from American Family and Ultimate on billing I am now out and additional $315 and possibly more. The extra costs incurred between the billing and the 2 additional rental car days are making me rethink my review. I'm dropping 2 stars. Accurate billing is as critical as a quality repair.
Of all things while stuck in traffic on the 95 I had a 63 Corvette Convertible with a stick shift roll back on the grade at Rancho and it crunched the left front of my stopped car. Having to call NHP because the driver wouldn't stop and having 3 NHP officers pull the other driver over 20 miles down the road at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway didn't help improve my attitude over it either. But when it came time to get the car repaired, Kevin and the team at Ultimate stepped up to make everything better.
I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and was told it would take one week to repair. And one week later I was driving out with a car that was repaired PERFECTLY. Back in the day I worked for an auto parts company and was DuPont certified when it comes to paint so I'm very demanding when it comes to paint. I'm also very particular about body panel alignment. I went over their repair literally inch by inch looking at the paint and it was flawless. And pulling out the micrometers and yeah even a laser at one point the body panels that were out of whack were back to Nissan spec and are perfect.
The repair could have been done faster than promised but they found the lower fog light was beyond repair and they insisted on putting genuine Nissan parts back on the car so they ordered the parts in to do the repair right. I don't mind that kind of delay when a shop stresses quality over speed especially when they delivered the car on time.
Kevin and the team at Ultimate kept me informed on what was going on with the car and were always pleasant and helpful to talk to. Out of this whole ordeal the best part besides getting my car back was dealing with the pros at Ultimate. 5 Stars. I try to not hand out 5 Star reviews but I can't honestly find anything negative to say about them. They've earned all 5 stars.
