Here I go, updating my post from about a month ago. I was so pleased with the resutaurant that I was eager to bring my mother when she traveled.
It was horrific.
I mean, horrible!!! I just cannot describe the disappointment guys!
First, we were offered to sit in either corner booths where we cannot be seen. There were so many other tables but we got shoved in a corner like we werent there. After we got seated, we looked at eachother for about 20 min because we had NO menus. They finally brought them and I asked the waiter if he can recommend an appetizer for I am not too familiar with Italian food and my mother has never been. He said "it's there, we have mushrooms or calamari..." REALLY?? Then, we got bread and olive oil. Cant go wrong with that. My boyfriend asked for a sprite. What I anticipated was the champagne and sorbet, didnt get it. didnt get the show when they open up your entrees in front of you. Very disappointing because I bragged about the experience. The waiter actually told me I can get the cover myself. -_- ....
I ordered the same thing I had last time, to keep it safe. It was BAD. Cold polenta. Seemed like it was fried earlier. It was really really bad. ugh; I told them I did not like it and the waiter picked up my plate and walked away with his head high and said "I take it off" .... not "what's wrong with it?" or "would you like something else?" SMH.... horrible service.... My boyfriend asked for a sprite again.
And when we tried to talk to the manager he defended that bad waiter!
NEVER GOING BACK; Not to mention, the last time I went they said IF I wrote a review I'll get a $10 gift card. Ask me if I got it yet? Oh, and my boyfriend asked for a sprite AGAIN.
We left and boyfriend STILL hasnt gotten his sprite.
All the caucasians that were there (we were the only colored folk) got a big show got served beautifully and recieved the same service I got the first time. But we were nobodies there this time around. Maybe we got good service the last time because we were one of 3 or 4 parties there.
