  • The coffee here is amazing. As a former barista, I know I can comfortably order an espresso drink and not worry that it will be pulled incorrectly, which I can't say about all the coffee shops in Madison. The food is great, especially for a cafe setting. My favorite thing about Crema cafe though is the warm atmosphere. You can really just sit and relax and feel like you're at home, but with coffee and food most people couldn't get in the comfort of their house. The staff is always friendly every time I go in, and they love chatting with customers. I definitely consider Crema to be one of the top coffee shops in Madison, and being on the opposite side of town, I still do my best to make it over there.
