Some friends and I took a day trip to Pittsburgh from Cleveland, and our first stop was to get some brunch at Pamela's. It was crowded and there was a long line, but that's how you know you're in the right place.
Now it has been a while, so I can't quite recall the food anymore, but I do know that it was delicious, filling, and very reasonably priced. I do remember that the hotcakes are recommended though!
The reason that this experience really stood out to me, was the attention they placed on their service. Now we had a decent group of people, and one person got her order before everyone else did. There really wasn't that significant of a wait in-between though, so imagine our surprise when the server actually apologized for the wait, and gave our entire table 50% off our meal.
The experience here was enough to make our entire trip worth it!
