  • We had brunch here on Christmas Eve, and the experience couldn't have been better. Our reservation was for a half hour before they were to close, so we were a little nervous that the service or food may suffer , as it does in so many places that close to closing time. Not the case! The portions were large and satisfying. I had the Huevos Rancheros, which was the best I've ever had. Coming from someone who lived in Mexico, and has been back to visit many times, this is really saying something. They were even better than I make at home! I truly respect a restaurant that has so much faith in its food that there isn't a salt shaker to be seen on not one table. One was not needed. The service was wonderful. The server was always there for our every need, without hovering over our table, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She steered us all in the right direction with her recommendations, and we all left extremely satisfied and pleasantly plump. Suffice it to say, this will not be our last trip to Meat stand Potatoes!
