| - Came here for lunch on a Sunday. They don't open until noon, which is kind of late, in my opinion. However, the place was not busy at all, so we were seated right away.
- Service = 5/5: The waitress was very friendly and fast. The unfortunate thing is she was the only one working...so if the place was busier, then perhaps the service will drop
- Food = 4/5: I ordered the "Taiwanese Stewed Chicken with 3 Cups Sauce with Rice" off of their $8.95 lunch combo menu. The food was surprisingly delicious...not too salty, but very flavourful. There was a generous serving of chicken, rice, vegetables...perfect amount (or more) for a lunch meal.
- Drink = 3.5/5: The combo came with a choice of a drink. I ordered the Mango Black Tea w/ tapioca, requesting for 50% sugar and less ice; however, it still came out to be super sweet. The tapioca had a good texture though.
- Ambiance = 3/5: The decor was very fresh (white and teal colour schemed), but it lacked the warmth/coziness compared to Cha Me Cha next door. Also, since there weren't that many customers, something felt missing from the place.
That being said, we would definitely return to ZenQ to try other items on their menu.
Note: We have been to Cha Me Cha many times in the past (right next door to ZenQ) and we noticed that Cha Me Cha is always busy whereas ZenQ is mostly empty. Food-wise, I believe ZenQ has better quality, but ambiance-wise, Cha Me Cha has the upper hand. Their price point is about the same.
