Let me first say Erica in the office gets 5 stars.
Why I live here:
-Price is unbeatable for the location.
-Parking isn't an issue.
-They have office house 7 days a week. I've lived in apartments that were not open on Sunday's so if you had a package you had to wait till Monday.
-Erica in the office is so friendly and remembers her tenants. I often forget to pick up my packages and one time I went a long time and Erica called to make sure I was okay because I had not been in, she even offered to slide the package right inside my door, she knows I commute quite a way and wanted to help.
-The views are great too.
-I have an irrational fear of bugs, lol, and they offer free monthly bug spraying in your apt. I did it once a year and a half ago and still haven't seen more than 3 bugs in my apartment.
Things that aren't so great:
-****The windows are ancient and paper thin, cooling costs in the summer on the third floor= $$$$. That might be the one things that makes me not renew for a 3rd year.
-There are kids that play outside which is great I love hearing kids playing, but these little boys are vulgar. I feel so bad for the grandpa because he tries so hard to manage them.
-My bedroom is right next to the wall of a staircase and even if someone tiptoes it's like an elephant is walking up the stairs. When your walking up the stairs it isn't that loud but from the other side of the wall it is.
-If you want to pay rent online you have to pay an absurd fee just to do so.
If they replaced the windows in my unit I wouldn't think twice about continuing my lease. At this point as the temps rise and my bank account drops due to cooling costs I'm weighing my options of renewing or not.
