| - These morons lost some items I left with them to auction. They originally told me items would be auctioned in two weeks. After six months of them lying to me, I finally got someone there to admit that they lost track of some of the items. Then, they said they did put some of the items up for auction and they didn't sell so they donated them to a charity. I had been trying to get my items back for several months since they kept telling me that they were scheduled for the next auction, then the next, then the next and when they finally copped to giving the stuff away, I asked them to reimburse me for the items. They said they couldn't do that since it is in the contract that they may donate unsold items. I insisted that if they had not lied to me about the whereabouts of my stuff for so many months and the items had been put up for auction when they said they would be, I could understand that but I had been making an earnest effort to find out the whereabouts of my items for months and they kept telling me there were delays due to some internal BS going on at the company. One employee finally even told me that indeed, they had dropped the ball and that I was not the only one it had happened to. They offered to pay me $100 for my trouble. My items were worth way more than that, I can assure you and I proved with my own research what the items were worth. I said I would take nothing less than the minimum I expected I might have received if they had sold - not the maximum but the minimum. I was completely realistic and accurate in my valuation and it was not a lot of money but significantly more than the pittance they were trying to get away with giving me to make me go away. I assured them that I would pursue legal action against them if I did not receive the minimum value and they finally agreed to settle for that amount. It was a horrible experience and, knowing that this was happening to others, I urge anyone and everyone to not attempt to put your items in these people's hands. As far as purchasing, I have no idea but if you are considering liquidating some of your valuables, go elsewhere.
