  • Wawel is a really great bakery. They are famous for their excellent Polish style doughnut. This is a beautiful doughnut; the dough is freshly made, sumptuously buttery and perfectly yeasty with several delicious fillings. The creme is luscious and the fruit is sweet. These doughnuts will have you at first sight. They've also got an excellent and extensive selection of imported Polish staples and foodstuffs such as chocolates, sweets, cheeses, juices and many many various condiments as well! Have you ever tried Polish mayonnaise? It is absolutely the best mayo you'll ever spread on your sandwich. Mmm and Polish spicy mustard is a great addition to your pantry as well. Order a sandwich with a sharp beautiful Polish cheese, some tomatoes, salad and some of these condiments with perhaps a pickle and you're set to go. Wawel as has an amazing frozen section where you'll find the most incredible pierogies and blintzes. You can even ask them to prepare them for you with a little sour creme and sautéed onion.
