  • I've had Sasaki Fine Pastry bookmarked for awhile and finally had the pleasure of trying it out this past weekend. True to all of the ratings before me, Sasaki is a great find and a gem inside J-Town! Daifukus are a must-try. There were 6 flavours available when I arrived: mango cream, sakura cream, sesame cream, cream, strawberry cream, and matcha cream. Although I was eager to try all the flavours, the less adventurous side of me won out and I ended up only grabbing 3 - mango, sakura, and sesame. All 3 were amazingly delicious! Daifukus were soft (albeit a little softer than I anticipated but still yummy nonetheless), flavours tasted authentic and 'fresh', and overall, all had the perfect level of sweetness. Definitely kicking myself for not grabbing the other flavours but at least now I have an excuse to go back :) I've been told that all items are very popular and usually sell out towards the tail end of the day so make sure you head there early!
