  • So, I rave on and on about good BBQ because it's probably one of my favorite things to eat. And I can rave on and on about Midwood! The problem is, that it's so affordable, we can get too many sides and then end up being full before our wonderful, juicy, fall-off-the-bone MAN-MEAT portions arrive. (Make sure you try the fatty brisket! Uh-oh! Mouth's a-waterin'!) And then we have to be abolutely miserable to try and stuff down dessert. I mean, we do try... This place is excellent. Service is a tad bit on the wonky side sometimes, and parking can be an adventure (as if the lot's full, you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger with the crazy Plaza-Midwood drivers), but I implore you...nay, I dare you to find better BBQ in Charlotte! (And if you do, please tell me all about it!)
