  • This was an almost perfect dining experience. The meal - in form of a 3 course lunch special- was flavourful and exciting. The service was impeccable, which in no way surprises me. Teatro has a history in Calgary. Where other restaurants come and go, Teatro evolves. The only tiny swerve from perfection was the sparkling red Piedmont. It may as well have been sparkling cran-apple juice. This is not a complaint so much as extremely unexpected. I have a sweet tooth, so my wife and I switched glasses, and I'm certain that they would have replaced had we asked. Teatro is a little piece of heaven in the heart of busy downtown Calgary. Do yourself a favour and participate.
