| - HORRIBLE!!
I've been looking forward to getting my bathroom mirror replaced. As a tall man, I can't see myself in the mirror unless I duck. I had a gentleman come out to my home from this company. He was sick and coughing up a lung and I kinda felt bad because today it's miserable and rainy outside, but he was a friendly guy nonetheless. I believe his name is, Michael. He took some measurements then called back to his shop for a quote. After hearing the quote I said okay, let's move forward and do it. But first, he says he needs 50% down and could get it done today. Normally, I wouldn't have any issues with this, but I've dealt with so many dirt bag local Vegas businesses over the past two years since owning my home, that I wasn't very comfortable with that.
I went ahead and called their actual shop and a woman with an extremely heavy Filipino accent (or perhaps Hispanic? I couldn't tell), who wouldn't give me her name (this already tells me everything I need to know - shady) explains to me the 50% is for cutting of the materials. Fair enough. I then asked if there was any type of military/Veteran deals and she said she needed to make a copy of my military ID. Uh, no you don't need a "copy" of my military ID. I show it to you when your guy is here, and it's a done deal. She takes $10 off - hey, a deal is a deal so no complaints here on that one. I then asked what time the gentleman from earlier would be back to install it since he told me today, to which she tells me, it can't be done today because of this, that and the other, just making stuff up as she goes. So wait, you want my money today, but can't install it today? I don't think so.
At this point, I just said forget it and that's when she went all senile and began screaming. Some words I could make out, some I couldn't. Haha, it was kinda comical really, but disrespectful to say the least. Why are you yelling at me? I'm just going off what your own employee told me in that he could do the job today. She said at one point that HER business isn't on MY schedule. No sorry Republic Glass & Mirror, but YOU ARE on my schedule as the paying customer keeping your lights on at the end of the day.
Like I said in the first paragraph, dirt bag local Vegas businesses. Just keep weeding through'em. Add another one to the list.
