  • We saw the show last night at its new venue at the Westgate. The theater is a nice size for this show. Dirk is a charming guy, and his assistants were great. It's a family oriented show, so be sure to bring the kids. It gets a little cheesy/corny at times, as some have said, but overall a nice show. The animals are gorgeous. Maybe Dirk needs to back off of asking for applause all the time--it gets a bit awkward. Maybe music could fill in some of those quieter gaps. We've seen all the magic shows in town, and his magic was really good. A fun show!
