  • There are some great things about Dr. Wright - works very hard, has great staff, and has done a really great job at getting what I need. I only give 4 stars as his most recent hire (Dr George Miller) is substandard. Now I have many dentist friends in other states, am a physician myself, and was suspect of Dr Miller. I'm not new to dental care by any means. I believe in old school dental training using that metal tool and having it stick. I was told I had a cavity by him taking a picture, I needed some other dental work re-done I had just had at another dentist, and then that my small mercury fillings I need to think about removing. Now I have never been told any of what Dr Miller told me, and I've been seeing Dr Wright and his last female dentist who had to leave practice to raise her kids (this woman was amazing!) Also on a side note Dr Miller went on to talk about risks of mercury in vaccines causation of autism, which is quackery as this has been shown not to be linked. Vaccines and autism was actually medically incorrect and those studies had to be retracted as the author admitted he lied. AND I'm too old to get autism but I digress. I understand the risks of mercury very well. But I don't trust Dr Miller one bit. I went and got 2 second opinions, spoke with my friends, read how different schools train dentists, and my suspicions were correct. I don't have any cavities - I have some stains on my teeth which I already knew!!! Those cavities were "stains" as confirmed by 2 other dentists in LA. I left Vegas so there would be no competition bias. And my mercury filings look fine and don't need to come out. I run marathons and am very healthy for christ sakes, I doubt I have any problems from mercury. I would say if you come to this practice, see Dr Wright. He's honest and great guy. Steer clear from new hire Dr Miller who will tell you you basically need a new set of teeth. I will return to see ONLY Dr Wright as he's done a fantastic job.
