  • If you like The Dakota, you will probably like Junction City Music Hall. The two spaces share a number of things in common. First, both spaces are located below street level. Both also offer a cozy vibe offered by wood panelling and ceiling strung twinkle lights. I have also seen some of the same bands in both venues. Local-ish indie acts with style and talent. Both venues are also staffed by friendly, chill staff and are stocked with a variety of local brews. Where the venues differ is definitely size. Junction City feels much larger than The Dakota. Its a little less cozy as a result, but both sizes definitely have their merit. If you're not from the Junction, travelling north of Bloor to checking out this space is definitely worth it. And really, its not that big of a leap guys.
