Tried to get a key made for my Chevy Aveo. Called Autonation Chevrolet and spoke to Josh(?) who started our conversation with a slight attitude of annoyance that I did not immediately have my VIN and had to go out to my car and get it. Josh took my VIN and ordered two blanks he said would be there the next day. Next day I got a call from Josh saying "they" sent the blanks to the wrong dealership. I explained it would be a few days until I was able to pick up the blanks. A week later I came to pick up the blanks and was told they wouldn't start the car because they were wrong.!!! I was told that without a VIN they couldn't help me.
Are dealerships only interested in the sale? I'm not going back to that dealership for any reason much less purchasing a vehicle.
