  • This place is amazing! We just moved to Henderson about a week ago and our dog woke up with a red and swollen eye. I called around to about 6 different vets and checked reviews for different places and we settled on Green Valley Animal Hospital. They have a special for new patients where you do not have to pay the exam fee which was enticing but it was after we checked reviews that we decided to go with them. I loved how they have different entrances for cat and dog owners as I'm allergic to cats so it was great to not have to sit next to one in the waiting room while we filled out paperwork. We went into the exam room and Dr. K came in shortly after. She is by far without a doubt the nicest vet that we have ever had and that is saying a lot as we have had six dogs over the course of my lifetime. She explained everything that she was going to do and then brought the estimate in before taking our dog (Harley) to the back. They are transparent with the prices, there was no sticker shock as everything was properly explained beforehand. It was really neat that she brought Harley back in the room so that we could see the ulcer in her eye when she did the corneal stain. Then Dr. K gave us the treatment plan. She thoroughly explained every single step and gave us ample time to ask ALL of our questions and we had several. I did not feel rushed by her and you can tell that she really cares. Really happy with this place and so glad we met Dr. K! Aside from being nice she is also extremely knowledgeable! The best vet!
