  • I had my first 'Curly Girl' haircut/style about 6 years ago and had kept it up until I moved to Nashville where they didn't have a DevaCurl stylist. I'm in Phoenix for several months and looked up salons in the area and chose to check out Curls Gone Wild. I explained to Priscilla that the people I was seeing in Nashville didn't cut my hair the curly hair way. We also discussed that I wanted to cut my hair short and she made sure I was ready by repeatedly asking me and told me she wouldn't cut it short unless I said Yes not just I think so. After I showed her what I wanted she expanded on it and explained everything she was doing while cutting my hair. I also got highlights and she suggested lowlights as well. She cut off approximately 5-6 inches of hair. She also reviewed the curly girl way and was more thorough than my original stylist several years ago. I love how she did my hair so much! I can't stop playing with it! She was so awesome with the instructions I was/am able to produce the same result! She salvaged my hair and made me feel very confident in my new cut.
