Update: August 2017:
Back again with the wife to celebrate her birthday. The food and service here was excellent as usual.
Last time we ordered too much and didn't have room for dessert.
This time we ordered a Mambo Salad (basically a spicy Cesar salad with a wasabi dressing), the Chilean Sea Bass, and repeated on the Rack of Lamb and the Sweet sugar peas.
For dessert we had cappuccinos and since it was the wife's birthday they gave her chocolate cake! Sweeet!
Our server Kim was great and very helpful. Excellent suggestions on the Sea Bass and Mambo Salad and thank you for the birthday cake!
Still a five star dining experience!
Christmas Season 2016:
I love this place! The wife and I have been here several times. The food is great. The atmosphere is unique. Always ask to be seated in the treehouse!
Today we are here for dinner and we had the rack of lamb, the Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna and several sides.
They start with a bread basket of several types. I personally love the pretzel bread
The lamb was medium and perfect. A nice char on the outside and moist and tender in the inside. Standard presentation of a lamb "drum stick"
The tuna was barely seared and sashimi grade; served over a bed of carrots, onions, and celery with a beer and soy sauce. Served with wasabi and ginger. Great presentation.
Sides...mac and cheese, sweet sugar peas, and the garlic mashed potatoes. Helpful hint - they actually offer a smaller serving size on sides (not on the menu).
No room for dessert today.
5 stars as always.
