HORRIBLE! Never again will I step into this joke of a dealership! We were looking for a new car to replace our 2012 Sonata and went to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. We wanted to get an appraisal of our car while on the test drive but the sales person said they did the appraisal, which sounded strange. After the test drive we went inside and after a few minutes the Sales Manager Chris came in and claimed they were having "printer problems" and we should come back. I said that were would appreciate an appraisal and some numbers so that we could look over everything. Chris said go on Kelly Blue Book and rate your car as good and that's your trade in amount. Mind you he is telling me this without ever looking at my car! I said we REALLY would like some numbers and we were interested in the rogue and also I had a VPP voucher for another car and could get one for this. Chris then again refused to do an appraisal and told me that the VPP voucher for the more expensive rogue we were looking at would "be a couple hundred dollars tops". Funny thing Chris, the VPP voucher was for OVER $1,500!
At this point I was fed up with out treatment and we just left vowing NEVER again to go into this dealership. Reading the reviews about sales I wonder how Chris even has a job! I feel we were not treated with respect and I guess he thought we were not serious. Funny thing is I hope Chris reads this and I will gladly send him a photo of the $27,000 cashiers check I got for the car we did purchase!
Modern Nissan of Lake Norman is a joke and unless you want to be treated with disrespect and flat out lied to avoid them at all cost. I sold cars previously and I assure you Chris would have been fired for his antics at the dealership I used to work at.
