| - Tried the dim sum inside Mekong for the 1st time on a Sunday around 10:45 am. Waited about 30 minutes for a party of 10. We were sat at the very back of the place next to a really filthy fish tank. The table looked dirty but I think it's really more from too much wear. The restaurant didn't have defined walkways, so there was a lot of weaving through tables and searching for room to walk through.
Let's talk about the service... we asked for forks for the younger guests that were with us and the server seemed to be bothered with the fact that he had to go out of their way to get us forks. At the end of the meal, we were given the bill, we waited for 10 minutes holding up the check trying to flag someone to take our payment. The rest of our party had already dispersed at this time. Finally, one server came to us and we tried to hand them the bill back and she just waved her hand no and walked away. Okay........ Luckily one of the people in our party came back and told us that they're taking payment up front. Couldn't the server have told us that?!?!
As for the food, we ordered noodles, veggies, turnip cakes, sesame balls, egg cream buns, pork shumai, fried shrimp wonton, hargow and so many others. Everything was good. No complaints in the food area.... except when we told the lady we wanted shrimp shumai she have us pork shumai and figured we didn't know the difference????
