I came here strictly for macarons because Ruelo had not opened its doors yet, so I don't really have much to say for the rest of their baked treats. The macarons were poorly crafted and weakly refined in flavour. I ordered the pistachio, lychee rose, and black sesame. The pistachio was bland and the lychee didn't really taste like lychee. They were also a tad too big for a typical-sized macaron, but if you're looking for more bang for your buck then Louis XIV Macarons would be viable option. I can't remember how much it all cost but I believe they ran from $2-2.50 per (??). Despite the disappointment with the french pastry, the service was friendly and the place looked clean.
Word of advice, AVOID the black sesame macaron if you have somewhere to be immediately after eating them. My lips, teeth and especially tongue turned BLACK after consuming the tiny black treat. I was on my break during work!!!
