  • *SOLELY ABOUT THE DRIVE-THRU CAR WASH* Decided to finally do my own dang car wash today (don't judge, don't laugh, im as delicate as a weed flower LOL). Seriously though, I hate driving & second, I'm extremely claustrophobic (I couldn't even breathe playing Shark Tank on the VR LMFAO). My fiancĂ© usually do the car wash drive-thru, vacuum, wax, the entire detail package bc honestly, all I know is gas & go with the occasional 'I think I gotta put gas.... now? Ok now.' That's the little story. Anyway, I just back handed a tiny spider crawling on my window yesterday and was scared to wipe down my truck bc it might jump & backhand me back. So I decided to go the car wash today. This place is soooo convenient and who doesn't love a quick in & out with a little entertainment in between. Head down warm springs & Fort Apache and turn into the AMPM gas station. On the opposite side from the vacuum cleaners (big red balls with tent, can't miss those.) Three options: 1) while putting gas, it'll ask if you'd like a car wash. Print receipt & give to attendant. 2) walk in to gas station store, pay, receipt, & hand to attendant. 3) The fastest way. Drive up to the entrance of the car wash. Wait for attendant to wave you thru. Align left tire to track. Put car on NEUTRAL, pay with card or cash. Don't forget a stamp card. 5 wash stamp, get 6th FREE. They'll ask "$8 or $11". $8 is your basic standard wash. $11 is with tire shine. Both comes with free unlimited use of the vacuum cleaners. When done, at the end of the tunnel an attendant will wave you forward (don't forget to put it in Drive lol). They'll do a quick wipe down. Enjoy the unicorn vomit soap :) Pros: *Spacious and doesn't feel like a dark alley way. *Has more features than other standard car wash I've been to. *Friendly attendants. Our favorite is the uncle from Hawaii *Affordable *Comes with unlimited vacuum use *Convenient location Cons: *Vacuums are a little too weak. Not much suction, but I don't mind. My car don't get too dusty LOL.
