| - I think it's truly 3.5 stars. Better than A OK but not quite a Yay! I'm a fan.
Came here on Sunday for lunch because they have free wifi, and they allow dogs on the patio. It was a beautiful day and the place was full outside (I did make reservations though), and it seemed jammin inside. It seems we were overlooked as we didn't get menu's for a while after we were seated, but once they took our order, they were quick.
They have everything on this menu. It's not anti-vegetables, as they do offer a few, but it's diner food. Tons and tons of it too. Sandwiches, pancakes, egg's, salads. Nice sized portions and a gal named Flo servin it. (just kidding, no Flo here)
I got the veggie sandwich, a grilled portobello mushroom with sliced avocado, tomato, lettuce on thick cut toasted rye with chipotle mayo. It was very tasty. It came with a choice between cole slaw (delicious), potato salad (has mustard in it, yuk) and pasta salad. Obviously, I got the cole slaw and LOVED it. Very good. My dish also came with a sliced pickle. Tien got the chicago hot dog, his came with 2 sides; he got potato salad and fries. He liked his hot dog and he didn't mind the potato salad. Got dessert, which was a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake was very moist, and tasty. They also have mini donuts for dessert and I will try those next time.
The prices were very good. I was definitely full with my sandwich and some dessert. I
ll be back soon once Tony comes home and we need some quick hangover food.
