I've been here twice now. BOTH times the service was horrible. The lady is not very attentive and will get to your table in a not-so-very hurried pace. On my second trip I had to physically get up from my seat and walk over to let her know we needed service. The food was decent but the side dishes were horrible. I almost want to say they were "old," which I know is hard to say because most dishes are spoiled/old but this quality was just so poor that it left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth.
Side dishes are a critical subset to the entree during any Korean meal. It is imperative that the side dishes are made from the most fresh ingredients and this did not taste that way.
COST: 3/5
The foods were a bit pricey and as I mentioned above, with the quality of the food I think the price is not worth it. It would've been different if it was a singular incident but on both my visits this was a common issue.
SERVICE: 1/5
Again, horrible service during both my two visits. The staff is usually very limited if it's not JUST the lady but even still they are not attentive and not generally carry the situational awareness you would expect from restaurant servers.
FOOD: 3/5
The food was decent. I ordered the black noodles (Jja Jang Myun). Quantity is plentiful and the black sauce is very flavorful. It's not exactly what you might be used to from Korea but it comes close. I also ordered Dwenjang JJigae (bean curd soup) which was very good but then again, if you are Korean you BETTER know how to make this.
DECOR/AMBIANCE: 4/5
Decent spot on the inside. The place seems very clean and well-kept. Seating is plentiful with private booths along one side and large tables for larger groups on the other.
