Late on an given Saturday morning, most of the cafes and buffets are filled with hungry hungover folks. Waiting in a line is a certainty.
A few doors down from the Wynn Buffet and Terrace Pointe Cafe, Country Club is a welcome solace from the nagging crowds. They have definitely loosened up their dress code policy, the last few visits I have worn cutoffs.
They now have a vegetarian and vegan menu. I enjoyed a tempeh 'crab cake', quite flavorful and the fried texture on the outside was nice. The special ham omelette was gorgeously cooked, perfectly fluffy, potatoes seasoned well and the mixed greens were dressed beautifully.
Grab a seat outside or by the window, enjoy the view of the greens and watch the amateur golfers attempt to play golf. It's a hoot.
