I took my daughter here based off off yelp reviews since I'm new in the area. The entire visit was strange. Dr. Ben prescribed progressive lenses (bifocals) to my 14 year old even though I told him I didn't like the idea of it he told me to try it for a month. She is suffering from extreme allergies in her eyes and he prescribed two different drops for her eyes neither of which was covered why my insurance and were extremely expensive. The pharmacy called to see if they could get some generics and the office was very difficult to get a hold of. I finally called the following day and they said they would respond by close of day. I checked on picking up my prescription today and the pharmacy didn't have the paperwork they needed. I called Dr. Ben's office and got a hold of a woman who works from home on a Friday and she said the office isn't open on Fridays and I would have to wait until Monday even though my daughter is having a hard time seeing. I asked her to call the doctor and see if he could simply call in a new prescription to the pharmacy. She didn't want to but finally agreed and I had to force her to tell me she would call me back. I was upset.
Update-Dr. Y called and spoke to me to try and make things right. I went in for a follow up and he really tried to do anything possible to make things right. I appreciated his effort.
