The fried oyster is my go to when I stop by. Heck, it's the only reason I drive over to the area. I've ordered the dish since 2012 or so. Recently, it seems like they've changed the recipe for it. They used to be full sized oysters that was coated nicely in batter. Now, it's bite sized pieces and when I ordered my take out, it was overcooked. If I had the time, I would've requested them to remake it but today, I had to eat what was given.
They have other food items which aren't that bad. It's the only nearby creole that I know of. The decor has that Mardi Gras feeling. Very causal but it's a small seating area. If you plan on a large group, it's best to call in before stepping in.
Sometimes it's busy but at times when it's not, you would expect the servers to check on you every so to make sure you're good on the beverages.
It's a nice little restaurant and if you're in the mood for the type of food and are nearby, then definitely stop by.
