I have stayed at many Embassy Suites so I was happy to find a rate here for less than $100/night. However, it did not take long to learn why the price is lower than others. I came here with three friends for four nights. We asked for rooms near each other facing away from the street. This forced them to move us but we had to wait about an hour while our rooms were cleaned. We went to them and found that they faced the street and decided not to go back to the desk. The property is not what you expect from ES. The buildings are two and three stores with interior hallways. It is not a bad property, though. The window in my room was FILTHY! It looked like it has not been cleaned in months. Housekeeping did not do much in other areas as well. The trash cans were not emptied, bathroom supplies were not replenished and the only effort at making the bed was when the blankets were simply pulled up. On the positive side, the breakfast was up to ES standards. It was very good, though their omelet cook and other staff were not very personable. Other hotel staff were just fine. Overall, the hotel is lacking in many areas but about average for those in this price range.
