  • Winter blues got you down? Likeaphenomena and I decided to make like it's Hawaii. Lacking in the exorbitant amounts of cash for the professional version, we decided to get some highlights for our hair - the do it yourself variety. The sales associate showed us a book of colour samples and steered us away from Marilyn Monroe blonde. With just one tube of colour and a bottle of developer, we thought we would be on our way to ridding ourselves of our winter doldrums. We knew we looked glum. We just didn't need to be told that we did. In other words, keep your opinions to yourself, (even if they are correct) be tactful, diplomatic and if you'd like us to return here, a smile would be helpful (even an artificial one).
