I remember the first week after moving in the front office told me that they'd be installing a Froyo machine with multiple flavors and that a DJ would be playing outside the pool over the course of the year long lease. Both of these never happened. It shows that these teams of staff that run student complexes around ASU really don't care too much about the students and are willing to make things up in order to get more students to sign an overpriced lease. Once you sign you're trapped. This complex is way overpriced for the quality of the amenities given and the quality of the apartments. The staff is limited in the amount of help they can give. I do like my bathroom and size of room, granite countertops and kitchen, but what matters most when living somewhere is that the staff running your apartment complex is both capable and willing to help a resident when in need. Vertex Apartments need to lower the price of their leases and increase their customer service skills. They need to focus on integrity and compassion for others, to be truly willing to contribute to make their residents feel welcome and a part of a bigger picture rather than a means of generating income. I am hoping for the best for future students.
