This was my first time at Sas Cupcakes. First impression: the store was cute, but cluttered. The cupcakes looked yum.
Actually: I ordered the Key Lime Pie, triple choc, baileys Irish creme, and coconut...first when we went to try the Key Lime, we cut into it...the frosting had become hard on the outside and completely melted on the inside, it poured out like soup. It was inedible. The coconut didn't taste like coconut, it was just vanilla. The buttercream was not consistent at all, it was very dry, and crusty. Which means it isn't being stored right. The cake was dry dry dry. They are probably day old cakes. Why was it so sweet?! I felt like I was eating straight sugar. I got sick immediately after. They also don't have menus.
Also, the girl at the counter was SO friendly. (That was the only positive experience there). But she had no clue what she was talking about. When I asked her about a wedding tasting she starting talking about cake pops and told me to call the manager? I won't be going back. It was a waste of $12.
