  • I was born in Cleveland and grew up in Lakewood my whole childhood before moving to California and this was one of my absolute favorite memories as a child and said one day I'm going to bring my kids here and tell them how much we used to come and and enjoy it and sure enough 14 years later, while visiting Ohio (aug 2017) I brought my kids here and OMG it's better than before! They have completely remodeled everything there even the walk near Lake Erie! It's so NICE! The play structures are so nice and updated. We took lunch with us (pizza, Angelo's of course when visiting) and ate at the picnic area just like I remember as a kid. We played for hours and my kids loved it! It's nice to see people enjoying it there all these years later! Parking was a little challenging, I don't remember that as a child and also the bathrooms could use some remodeling, it still looks the same from when I was a little kid. Otherwise, I would recommend this park to everyone.
