| - It's one star because unfortunately Yelp requires me to give one. Came in to bring my 2012 VW Jetta in to get my tire plugged due to a nail being in the tire. The technician said that it would take about 2 hours. My father came with me to ensure that I was treated fairly due to having mediocre service previously at this location. The technician informed us that the service was $29.99 and was trying to push getting a Tire Works credit card on us to get the fee waived. He then quoted us $39.99 for the service and said that I would receive a complimentary inspection. My father proceeded to ask if being that we have been bringing all of cars in as a family for years, if they could possibly honor the $29.99 we were original quoted. As a family we have been bringing our vehicles to this location (4690 W Cactus Ave. 89141) since opening. He said that was not possible. He asked me for my keys and said he would see us later. He didn't even ask me what tire needed the fix. He needed up running out of the store and shouted "What tire was it?" He informed me that they would call me when my car was ready to be picked up. When 2 1/2 hours rolled around and I still had not received a call, I called to check on the status of my vehicle and they informed me it was ready.
Upon picking up my vehicle, the man that originally took my information was assisting another customer so another technician came from the back and my father proceeded to ask if he was the new manager to which he said that he was. My father proceeded to ask him if he was the reason why the price was now higher for the service. The technician said that this was a company wide increase in the service price. He rang me up and had me sign the receipts and said "you're good to go." They did not inform me of any of the service performed on my vehicle, what they took out of my tire, if they put air in my tire, nothing. Yes, I understand that there is an itemized receipt, however, when delivering a vehicle that has a service performed on it, at very least explain what you have done. To add insult to injury there was no "complimentary inspection" performed on my vehicle, and if it was that would remain a mystery because there is no record of that on my receipt.
I then got in my car and found a bolt in my cup holder. We walked back in and another technician comes from the back and says "yeah that's your wheel lock, you're gonna need that" my father said this is ridiculous you leave a part in the car, don't explain what you've done and the manager cuts him off and just says " Have a good day". That's your response to your lack of service, communication, and reputation. Disgusting. We'll see what your superiors will think of your service today because we are reaching out to Tire Works corporate immediately. Also be informed of the barometer of service that you are providing, your previous yelps from this week alone support our experience today.
