Over the years I've written many reviews on Yelp but admittedly it has been a while since I wrote one. However I wanted to give some public kudos to the guys at NYX (in Markham). I've been vaping for a about a year and a half now and let me tell you, I've had my ups and downs. Most smokers will tell you that vaping, as an aid to quit smoking, is difficult. Most smokers I talk to are on and off vaping for various reasons. Mine were lack of great e-liquids and the ridiculous pricing of hardware out there. Granted today pricing is a lot lower than 1.5-2 years ago, finding great e-liquids is still challenging as most purchases are hit and miss (even with reviews).
Over the years I've purchased other hardware from China and have been very disappointed in the quality (not to mention shipping costs and delays). I've bought a few different electronic cigarettes from NYX as well and have been happy with each of them. Currently I'm using the iTaste VV with a nautilus mini (with BVC coils). It's a great combo of form and function and IMHO one of the best mainstream e-cigs available today.
Going back to e-liquid, NYX took a little while to really build their arsenal of e-liquids, but I would say that now, they have a lot of great tasting, smooth e-liquids. I was happy to see they have high VG juice which makes my vaping experience smoother and more flavourful. The hidden gems from NYX I'd recommend everyone try are: Red Tobacco, Blue Lagoon, Alpha Berry and Lemon Cream Puffs. Everyone's taste buds are different so I can't guarantee you'll love these flavours BUT I can tell you that most people I know that buy juice/e-liquid from NYX love them as the quality of their juice at NYX really stands out.
If you've read any of my past reviews, you'll know I'm a stickler for service. If a business has bad service, I don't give a damn what else they have or what else they can do. Bad service is a deal breaker for me, and this is another reason why I find myself popping into NYX every now and then to pickup more e-liquids (and sometimes more hardware like tanks and batteries). The guys at NYX are knowledgeable, patient and always helpful. They're always willing to stop what they're doing and spend a little time with me explaining the differences between various products. I'm a very detail oriented guy so sometimes this gets annoying for floor/sales reps but the NYX staff is great, no complaints here.
My review concludes, NYX has great products, excellent service, and most importantly (for me) amazing e-liquids! I've got some liquids on the way so I am uber excited and can't wait to get my hands on them!
