Very unpleasant experience at return. Checkout everything went great. Mile was nice (hence 2 stars instead of 1).
At return i brought the vehicle back at nearly 3/4 (when it left at 1/2. So I GAVE THEM more gas). Well she then says my total is $85. Seems a lot for 3 days that my insurance is paying for 80% if. I look at the bill and she charged me the PENALTY charge of 9.99/gallon for not "refueling" well when I pointed it out to her she tried blaming the checkout agent saying I purchased the FPO (fuel purchase option). Well my contract does not list the FPO. And their fueling sign has 3 options...my contract and receipt do not say FPO (which would've been at $2.08 a gallon if I had purchased it). And said my receipt says I'm being charge for $29.40 of fuel and services at $.42 per mile or 9.99/gallon. I worked for Avis for six years and I worked for advantage for two years which was/is owned by hertz and has the same system. She tried covering HER MISTAKE and blaming the other Agent. I will never come here again, even if my insurance is paying.
They even said they couldn't adjust the contract and would have to call it in. Well when I used to work at advantage many of the outside agents would mess up the fuel at checkin and they used to come inside so we could fix it. They could have adjusted it, they just did not want to. They are probably using the same system as I used. With all the button tabs on the left side saying "return, rent etc.)
