I went to Gypsy Cafe on a Sunday night in July and it was almost entirely empty. I was a little apprehensive but ended up having a great meal there. The restaurant has a high ceiling and has a vintage feel to it, but I think that is the vibe they were going for. At another table, a woman was reading taro cards to another woman. It kinda reminded me of New Orleans for some reason. The food is imaginative and quite tasty. We tried the pineapple and red onion hummus, the spinach and beet dip, some meatballs, and goulash. Everything was great and the beet dip was really unique. The portions are on the large size so there was more than enough food.
