| - I've had several stays at this hotel. Lotta pros, but there are a few cons.
Checking in is usually pretty quick and painless. For my current stay, I got an E-mail from them in the morning just as we were about to leave for Vegas. It linked me to their site where I could pre-check-in. I gave them all my info and paid online. When I got to the hotel, All I had to do was go to the front desk and grab my keys. We got from our cars at the valet to our room in less than five minutes. There's no self parking and it's all valet, however, only one vehicle can be registered per room. The other car in my group had to park at the MGM Grand. Since our room was in the farthest tower from MGM's parking structure, the walk took a good 15 minutes. Inconvenient.
I love the suites here. They're relatively modern, spacious, and they all come with a balcony. The one-bedroom suite has two bathrooms which is a huge plus. The kitchen is a bit small, but who cares. The king-sized bed in the bedroom was comfortable. The pullout sofa bed is as comfortable as you'd imagine a typical sofa bed to be.
The rooms aren't initially stocked with any of the kitchenware. You have to call housekeeping and get them to deliver a set to your room. It took them over two hours to finally show up. Your guess is as good as mine on why it took so damn long.
If you like to gamble, you do have make a bit of a walk to the casino at MGM. It's all indoors, though, so you won't be frying in the sun.
A couple nuisances, but the value is just too good. I'll be back here again for sure.
